hey Carrie

Intervals are great for losing weight, but that is just one small part of the weight loss picture. I will try and make this short and sweet:)

when you exercise your body will burn stored glycogen(stored carbs) as energy first. now most people have about 30min of stored glycogen, so that means you do not even start burning stored fat until after that 30min mark. so be sure to do at least 45min of cardio in each session.

or try dojng 30min of cardio in the morning when you get up and before you eat anything. this way the glycogen has been used up by your body as energy while you slept:)

also you have to eat more than 2 meals per day. try eating 6 smaller meals per day. this helps to keep your blood sugar levels stable.

good luck:)
