Wondering how many more calories are burned by adding 4lb ankle weight to my walk...lets say 2 mi.?
5'4".....38yrs.....140lbs......GOAL.....117lbs- 120lbs! Have really struggled and need some help!

I don't think you will be able to get an exact answer to your question because the number of calories you burn depends on so many variables, such as intensity, distance/duration, etc. but the good news is you do not really need to know this if you are trying to lose weight:) your daily caloric needs are approx 1386 calories per day, so just eat 200-500 fewer calories than that and keep doing your walk and you will start to lose weight. |
